Kristi took care of a wealthy couple in business class who were acting very affectionate. The next day, she was shocked to discover that the same man was engaged to her mother. Kristi knew she had to act, but had no idea what she was about to unleash.
High above the clouds, in the business class section of a commercial airliner, Kristi, in her impeccable flight attendant uniform, walked the aisle with practiced grace.
She stopped near a couple nestled by the window, absorbed in their private world. The man, in a well-tailored suit, was presenting a small velvet box to the woman, whose eyes were as bright as Fourth of July fireworks.
The case contained a delicate, glittering necklace, its stones scattering prismatic colors across their seats. Kristi’s eyes widened, and she paused her tour for a second.

“May I, my beautiful Isabella?” the man whispered to his companion, excitement coloring his voice. The woman nodded, her cheeks flushing as she lifted her hair for him to fasten the necklace.
“That’s a pretty shade of lipstick,” the woman said, turning her attention to Kristi with a warm smile.
Flustered and touched, Kristi touched his lips. “Thank you, it’s my favorite,” she said almost stuttering at the thought of being caught in the act.
The man smiled at Kristi, offering her a generous tip. “Thank you for making this flight special,” he said sincerely.

“It’s my pleasure. Enjoy your trip together,” Kristi replied, her heart fluttering as she moved on, the couple’s joy lingering in her mind.

The next day was her only day off that weekend, and Kristi had promised to visit her mother. As she arrived, the old woman took her arm and introduced her to Edwin, her new fiancé .
Except he was none other than the man from the plane who had given another, younger woman, a magnificent diamond necklace. Kristi’s shock froze her, but she kept her expression under control.

“It’s nice to meet you, Kristi. Your mother has told me a lot about you,” Edwin said gently, extending his hand as if they had never met.
“Nice to meet you too,” she replied cautiously, playing along for her mother’s sake.
Edwin then took over the kitchen, preparing a meal with the skill of a seasoned chef. “It’s my way of showing care,” he explained, serving the dishes with ease.
As they ate, Edwin regaled them with stories of his travels, but he only responded vaguely when Kristi probed more about his past.

It only made things worse, but she wasn’t sure what to say to her mother. Could it be that she was wrong about her?
After dinner, Kristi decided to take her mother outside, hoping the air would help cool her down.

The cool breeze from the deck was just what she needed before asking the tough questions. “Mom, how much do you really know about Edwin?” Kristi asked cautiously.
“He’s wonderful. A billionaire, the son of a diamond magnate. He showed me such a glamorous life,” his mother replied, her eyes shining. “We’re getting married in just a few days!”

“Mom, I know this is going to sound weird, but I swear I saw him on a flight recently with another woman, and now all of a sudden he’s with you and you’re getting married,” Kristi confided.
His mother frowned. “Why are you lying to me? Can’t you be happy for me? Edwin loves me. You just don’t want me to be with another man after your father dies.”
“That’s not it! Doesn’t his quick move seem odd to you?” Kristi argued.
“Weird? No, it’s romantic. You’re too young to understand. Edwin only talks about love,” his mother replied.

Kristi sighed. “Mom, please think about it. He could be a con artist. That number on the plane… he sounds like a Casanova.”
“Scammer? Kristi, that’s ridiculous. Edwin is a good man!” his mother said.
“I just don’t want to see you lose everything because of a man we barely know,” Kristi added, desperately trying to talk sense into him.
But at that moment, Edwin appeared, a drink in hand. “Ladies, let’s party,” he said cheerfully as Kristi’s mother excused herself for a moment.
Once alone, Kristi frowned and stared at Edwin, unable to hold it in any longer .

“How can you manipulate my mother’s feelings?” she asked, recounting everything she saw him do on the plane.
Edwin’s smile faltered. “Kristi, I only want your mother to be happy. No need to be hostile.”
She scoffed and poured a glass over his head. “You think you’re clever, but I see right through you. I won’t let you hurt my mother,” she said firmly. ” You’re a fraud! “
His mother reappeared, and her eyes widened at the sight of the orange slice still dripping from Edwin’s face. “Kristi, how could you? Edwin, I’m so sorry…”

Edwin reassured her. “It’s okay. Let’s not let it ruin our evening.”
Kristi’s frown deepened as her mother dealt with the con artist, and she realized then that there was no way she could win tonight. She only knew she had to prove Edwin’s true nature to protect her mother.
It would just take a little time.
It was then that she remembered an important detail from the day of the flight when she had seen Edwin… and Isabella.

Kristi paced in front of the airline office, gathering her courage before entering. At the front desk, a cheerful representative was at the reception desk. “Hello! How may I help you today?”

“I need to see the passenger list from my last flight. It’s important,” Kristi said, stammering.
“It’s confidential. May I ask why you need it?” the representative asked, frowning.
Kristi tried to hide her nervousness by saying, “A passenger left something valuable. I want to help return it.”
“Okay, I can’t show you the list, but I can help if you give me more details,” the representative said, leading Kristi into an office.
Once seated, Kristi explained that a passenger named Isabella had lost her jewelry and mentioned it as she was disembarking.

The representative confirmed that the lost and found office had received Isabella’s missing person report and that they had indeed found the jewel.
“Could I return it to him myself? It might mean more if it came from someone who was on the flight,” Kristi asked him.
After signing a release form, Kristi received Isabella’s jewelry and her contact information. She called the woman and arranged to meet her the next day in a hotel lobby.

Kristi found Isabella, the same woman Edwin had been affectionate with on his last flight, in a beautiful hotel cafe and recognized her immediately.

“You were the flight attendant on my last trip, weren’t you?” Isabella asked, surprised.
“Yes, it was me. It’s a small world.”
Kristi quickly got to the heart of the matter, telling her about Edwin, her suspicions, and everything she knew. The young woman frowned in frustration.
“I knew something was wrong. Edwin asked me for a large sum of money for an emergency. I trusted him, and I’m supposed to meet him soon to give it to him,” Isabella confided, leaning back and crossing her arms.

Kristi told him this would be a chance to unmask him. “We can set up a scenario to catch him. We’ll record everything. I’ll disguise myself, he won’t recognize me,” she said.
Isabella approved the idea and they spent the next hour planning their strategy, focusing on every detail and Edwin’s potential reaction.
As she left the cafe, Kristi felt nervous but determined. The plan was set , and together, they were going to save her mother.

In a dimly lit, upscale restaurant where Isabella had arranged to meet Edwin to give him the money he had asked for, the young woman waited, swirling her wine glass.

Meanwhile, Kristi was disguised as a waitress and watched from across the room as Edwin confidently walked in and greeted Isabella.
“Isabella, my dear, sorry to have kept you waiting,” he said, sitting down.
Kristi approached their table to take their order, and Isabella played along perfectly by suggesting they celebrate with red wine.
“Excellent choice,” Edwin agreed, his eyes fixed on Isabella. Kristi quickly brought the wine over, her heart racing with every step.
“That’ll be all, thank you,” Edwin said, glancing only briefly at Kristi. It wasn’t enough to notice who she really was. His attention quickly shifted to his companion.

As they sipped their wine, Isabella suggested that instead of giving him money, she could give him a gift, something more tangible like a piece of jewelry since he had been so generous in giving her diamonds.
Intrigued, Edwin pulled out his phone to show her some options, from Cartier and Rolex watches to designer clothes.
As soon as her phone was placed on the table, Kristi seized her chance. She pretended to fill their glasses with wine and accidentally spilled some on Edwin’s shirt.
“Good heavens! My shirt!” he exclaimed, jumping up in irritation.

“It’s just an accident, Edwin. Let’s not make a scene,” Isabella said, giving Kristi a discreet nod.
Kristi apologized profusely, then hurried away, saying she had to get club soda and napkins.
She had swapped Edwin’s unlocked phone for a temporary fake phone , and rushed to the bathroom to check the real phone.
After a few minutes of searching, Kristi discovered Edwin’s active dating profile and flirtatious messages similar to those he had sent to her mother.

It wasn’t the definitive proof she’d hoped for, but it was still troubling. So Kristi typed a message, making one last effort to trap Edwin.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, which made her jump. “I know you’re in here with my phone! Come out now!” Edwin shouted from outside.
“I’m calling the police!” he said, his voice stern and urgent.
Kristi stood up, phone in hand, heart pounding. She opened the booth door to face Edwin in a tense standoff. He lunged for the phone, but Kristi dodged.

“Stay where you are!” she said, her back against the cold bathroom wall.
“Give me my phone, or you’ll regret it!” Edwin shouted, reaching out for her. Kristi screamed, hoping someone would come to her aid and preparing for what might happen next.

In a sterile police station, Kristi sat under the cold glare of fluorescent lights.
“You’re lucky Mr. Edwin didn’t press charges,” an officer warned sternly. “Consider this your only warning.”

Kristi nodded, her voice small. “I thought I was doing the right thing.”
“Good intentions don’t always lead to good actions,” the policeman replied before walking away.
That’s when her mother walked through the door, her face etched with disappointment. “Kristi, that’s not the girl I raised,” she said, her voice thick with emotion.
“Mom, I was trying to protect you from Edwin,” Kristi explained, looking down.
“Protect me by breaking the law?” his mother retorted sharply. “You’ve gone too far.”

“Mr. Edwin has filed a restraining order. Any further action will result in arrest,” an officer told him.
Kristi closed her eyes, but her mother gave her no respite.
“I don’t want to see you anymore . Learn from this. Goodbye, Kristi,” the old lady said before leaving.

Kristi returned to the hotel where she had met Isabella and sat down at the lobby bar. As she was having a drink, Isabella slid in next to her.

“I heard about what happened. I’m sorry,” she said, crossing her fingers on the counter.
“Thanks,” Kristi said, half-smiling. “But before everything fell through, I changed Edwin’s password on the dating site.”
“That’s great,” Isabella replied, intrigued. “We can use it. Let’s warn the other women.”
Kristi laughed as they logged into Edwin’s dating profile together, crafting numerous messages to alert his targets.
“Beware of Edwin. He is not who he says he is. Protect your heart and your wallet,” Kristi wrote steadfastly.

Their initial laughter turned into determined silence when they realized the lengths this man was willing to go to defraud women.
It was late at night when Isabella closed her laptop and shook Kristi’s hand.
“And remember, what we started tonight is just the beginning. Edwin has no idea what’s in store for him. Just wait until the wedding—it’ll be unforgettable!”

The morning sun cast a golden glow over the town chapel as Edwin, dressed in a black tuxedo, prepared to marry Kristi’s mother.

However, he didn’t know that today was the last time he would get away with his Casanova scam.
Kristi watched from the trees, her heart pounding, as the ceremony began. Suddenly, an unusual murmur rippled through the crowd.
Heels clicked on the floor as one woman, then another, and dozens more walked toward the chapel. All of them were women Edwin had deceived.
A woman in a bright red dress shouted, “Crook!” Her voice breaking the solemnity of the ceremony.

Edwin frowned, his confusion turning to horror when he recognized her and the others.
“He’s a liar!” shouted another.
“You won’t get away with this!” added a third.
The ceremony descended into chaos. A woman smashed a piece of the wedding cake into Edwin’s face, covering it with cream.
He then fled , but a guest tripped him, sending him onto a flowerbed.

The women rushed at him, using handbags, shoes and flower arrangements to get revenge, while insulting him.
The police finally intervened, clearing the crowd and leading away a disheveled Edwin. As calm returned, the chapel buzzed with hushed conversations and occasional sobs.
Kristi emerged from her hiding place as her mother left the chapel, tears streaming down her face. The old woman stared at her, shaking her head before getting into a car.
His mother was too proud to admit she was wrong. But Kristi would wait and give him time to grieve. In the meantime, she would make sure Edwin faced the full force of the law.
